“Why did you choose this course and university?”
✓ Approach: Specific academic reasons, modules, career fit, and why the UK for it. Show genuine research.
✗ Avoid: Generic answers that fit any course.
“How does this course fit your career plans?”
✓ Approach: Connect the degree to a clear career goal, ideally back home.
✗ Avoid: No clear 'after' plan.
“How will you fund your studies and living costs?”
✓ Approach: Exact figures — tuition, living costs, source of funds. Know the numbers.
✗ Avoid: Vague or inconsistent finances.
“What do you know about the university and the city?”
✓ Approach: Show you researched — location, campus, course structure.
✗ Avoid: Not knowing basics about where you'll live and study.
“What will you do after you graduate?”
✓ Approach: A clear plan, usually returning home to a career step.
